    If you are after something serious but not bananas harsh, this retinal powerhouse has been a game changer in my nighttime routine. It's one of those serums where you wake up and go "huh, my skin is actually smoother" without looking like you wrestled a scrubber all night. Packed with a mix of retinal, retinol and acids that quietly work on texture, fine lines and dull bits, it's given my skin more glow and less congestion over a few weeks. Just a small amount goes a long way and I ease into it every few nights like recommended and none of that peeling, screaming-at-your-mirror stuff.

    Downsides?

    It is not cheap and you do need sunscreen during the day (obvs). But if you're keen to level up from entry-level retinol without frying your face, this one's worth a crack. 10/10 would recommend to mates looking for smoother, brighter skin and just introduce it slowly and be consistent.
