Intelligent Retinol 3TR utilises climbazole for enhanced retinol performance alongside Time Release Technology to ensure gradual overnight release; all delivered in a silky blend of squalane and lightweight oils to leave skin nourished and smooth. Medik8 recommend using vitamin C and sunscreen in the morning and Vitamin A at night. 

0.3% Retinol – Pure vitamin A enhance the skin’s natural regenerative cycle; leaving skin looking even-toned and youthful.

Climbazole – Climbazole has been found to boost the activity of retinoids in the skin to give the power of higher percentages without the irritation.

Squalane – A natural emollient; squalane helps to restore the skin’s natural defence barrier while deeply hydrating the skin.

Vitamin E – An oil-soluble antioxidant; vitamin E quenches free radicals on the skin while stabilising retinol for optimal power.

Supercharge your night-time routine with this lightweight vitamin A serum. Deeply hydrating and easily absorbed, it features an intelligent Time Release system that prevents irritation and ensures retinol is evenly distributed across the skin. Upgraded with climbazole to kick-start your anti-ageing results, plus squalane to leave skin hydrated and supple. You will notice a rejuvenated, refined and more youthful-looking complexion.

After cleansing in the evening, massage 4 drops of Intelligent Retinol 3TR across the face, neck and décolletage. Follow with your regular Medik8 moisturiser or facial oil. Retinol application should be phased in gradually. Use twice a week for the first 2 weeks, every other night for the next 2 weeks, then every night.

Impressive product

I hesitated to leave a review until 3-4 months after my purchase for a proper opinion on the retinol serum. I have noticed my fine lines between my eyebrows and on my forehead fade quite noticeably after use but return if I am lazy with application. I have also noticed my acne scars fade significantly after the third month, and my skin on my neck and cheeks are glowing after consistently using twice a week with a heavy moisturiser. I had no irritation with the first few uses, which is impressive to me because my skin is very sensitive to retinol and strong actives. There is little to no scent left on skin and it absorbs nicely without wiping off on your pillows and collars. I would recommend this product but with the notion to remember to apply sunscreen the next day after use because it makes your skin a tad sensitive to prolonged light exposure.
